October 22: We continue our multi-week study celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation by looking at how it answers questions that we face in present-day America. Today, we consider the history of the “treasury of merit” as promulgated by Pope Clement VI in 1343 and how dangerous the idea is to the life of the Christian.
